November, 13 an exhibition of modern theatre artists' works visualized William Shakespeare plays opened in Moscow.

The Bolshoi Museum enriched the exposition with photos of scenes from theatre's most modern performances on Shakespeare plots: all the premieres happened in 21th century and one of them - just this year. "The Taming of the Shrew" ballet has been staged specially for The Bolshoi by famous French choreographer Jean-Christophe Maillot this summer.
The photos of the latest version of "Romeo and Juliet" ballet by S.Prokofiev staged by director Declan Donnellan and choreographer Radu Poklitaru are represented at the exhibition as well. This season these two reunited to create new masterpiece on Shakespeare plot - this March the Bolshoi will present "Hamlet" premiere.

Modern ballet classic John Neumeier staged "A Midsummer Night's Dream" in 1977 in Hamburg for the first time. Since then this performance appeared on many world stages and finally reached the Bolshoi in 2004. "Flaky" costumes made by Jurgen Rose perfectly embody magic mystifications of this play.

The exhibition will be open since November 13th till December 14th, 2014
