Chinara Alizade


She was born in Moscow. In 1995 she entered the Dance Academy of the New Humanitarian University of Natalia Nesterova (N. Trishina’s class). In 1999 she continued her studies at Moscow State Choreographic Academy (class of Natalia Archipova, Ludmila Litavkina)

While studying at the Academy she received title roles in school performances — she danced Masha in P. Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker (choreography by V. Vainonen, production by M. Krapivin) on the stage of the Bolshoi theater.

In 2005 she won the 1st prize (junior group) at the International competition of ballet dancers and choreographers in Moscow and was invited to join the Ballet company of the Bolshoi Theater where she made her debut in the part of Swan/Four swans in P. Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake.

Her teacher-repetiteur is Marina Kondratyeva.

In 2008, she took part in the Bolshoi Theater project Workshop of New Choreography, dancing in Three Moods to music by A. Scriabin in the program Choreographic fragments after Scriabiniana by K. Goleyzovsky (production by T. Khrapova — Li Su-an and V. Khrapov).


2007 — she danced the role of Soloist in Déjà vu to music by Wim Mertens (choreography by N. Dmitrievsky, Gold of autumn project. On the stage of Moscow Art Academic Theater n.a. M. Gorky)

2009 — she danced the title role in Giselle in Baku together with the ballet Company of Azerbaijan state academic opera and ballet theater (Count Albrecht — the Bolshoi Theater soloist Andrey Bolotin).

2010 — she danced Kitri in Don Quixote at the same theater (Basil — the Bolshoi ballet principal Mikhail Lobukhin).

Her concert repertoire includes the Grand Pas classique to music by D. Auber (choreography by V. Gzovsky), A Spell to music by D. Archer, production by A. Melanyin, The Wedding to music by J. L. Anestoy and group Bled (choreography by E. Druzhinin).
