| Maxim AniskinBaritoneBiographyMaxim Aniskin was born in Novopolotsk (Belarus). In 2000 he graduated from Dargomyzhsky Music College in Tula. In 2005 — from the the Moscow State Ippolitov-Ivanov Pedagogical Music Institute. In 2005-06 he was a soloist with Moscow’s Novaya OperaTheatre.
Since 2006, he has been a soloist with Novosibirsk Theater of Opera and Ballet, and debuted there as Yeletsky in Tchaikovsky`s The Queen of Spades.

At the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre his repertoire includes the roles of Robert (Iolanta by Tchaikovsky), Escamillo (Carmen by Bizet), Count (The Marriage of Figaro by Mozart), Guglielmo (Cosi fan tutte by Mozart) and Onegin (Eugene Onegin by Tchaikovsky).
In 2012, Maxim Aniskin debuted at the Teatro Real Madrid as Robert in Iolanta (directed by Peter Sellars, conductes by Teodor Currentzis).
In the season 2013/14 he performed the title role in Verdi`s Macbeth at the Staatheater Klagenfurt and debuted as Sir Riccardo Forth in Bellini`s I puritani at the Metropolitan Opera, NY. He also took part in a performance of Britten`s War Requiem with the Royal Northern Simfonia Chamber Orchestra at the Novosibirsk Theater of Opera and Ballet. He toured with the Company to South Korea and Thailand.
Engagements of the 2015/16 season include among others Giacomo in Verdi`s Giovanna d'Arco (Bonn); Robert in Tchaikovsky` Iolanta at the Aix-en-Provence Festival, Opera Lyon, and at the Metropolitan Opera; the title role in Verdi`s Macbeth at the Staatstheater Darmstadt. | |
