Kuzma RybalkinBassKuzma was born in the town of Gorlovka, Ukraine. In 2007 he graduated from the Belgorod Musical College named after Degtyarev, Piano Department; in 2008 – from the Academic Vocal Department. From 2006 to 2008 Kuzma was a soloist at the choir of the Belgorod State Philharmonic. In 2013 he graduated from the Maimonides State Classical Academy (Trapeznikov’s class). At the present moment Kuzma is an assistant intern at the Department of Solo Singing of the State Classical Academy. Since year 2013 Kuzma has been a student at the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Centre where he sings aria of Zuniga in Bizet’s Carmen, Zaretsky, Company Commander in Tchaikovky’s Eugene Onegin, Svetozar, the Head in Glinka’s Ruslan and Lyudmila, Sobakin in Rimsky-Korsakov’s The Tsar’s Bride, Pimen in Mussorgsky’s Boris Godunov. In 2014 Kuzma took part in the XII International Sakharov Festival of Arts in Nizhny Novgorod, in the II International Mstislav Rostropovich Festival held in Orenburg, as well as performed in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin to commemorate 120th foundation anniversary of the Tchaikovsky House-Museum in the town of Klin. In November 2014 Kuzma debuted at the Bolshoi Theatre in Banevich’s opera The Story of Kai and Gerda as the Third Robber and the the Third Actor. In 2015 Kuzma took part in the VIII International Mstislav Rostropovich Festival held in Baku. Kuzma is a second award winner at the International Contest for Vocalists in Volgograd (2008). |
