| Larisa RudakovaSopranoBorn in the city of Sverdlovsk (today Yekaterinburg). In 1992, she completed her studies at the Moscow State Pyotr Tchaikovsky Conservatory (Irina Maslennikova’s class). In 1992, she was a probationer at the Bolshoi Theatre (during her probationary period she sang the part of Rosina in Gioachino Rossini’s Il Barbiere di Siviglia 11 times). In 1993, she was promoted to soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre Opera Company.

Tours
She has made frequent appearances at the Metropolitan Opera, Hamburg State Opera, Vienna State Opera and other opera houses. In the 1997-98 season, she took part in a production of Mozart’s Die Zauberfloete at the Opera Royal de Wallonie, in Liege. In the same year, she appeared at the Salzburg Festival, singing the part of Arbate in Mozart’s Mitridate, re di Ponto (conductor Roger Norrington). She sang the part of Regan in Tashio Hosokawa’s contemporary opera Vision of Lear (Tadashi Suzuki production) at the 3rd All-World Theatre Olympiad, in Moscow. In 2004, she sang the title role in La Traviata at Belgrade National Opera. In 2005, she appeared as Gilda in a production of Rigoletto at Sofia National Opera (Bulgaria). In the same year, she participated in the Jan Kiepura Festival, in Poland. In 2006-07, she made concert appearances at the Carnegie Hall, New York, Cadogan Hall, London, Dzintari Concert Hall, Jurmala (Latvia), and also in Italy (Rome, Milan) and Germany (Kassel). She has been a probationer at Deutsche Grammophon. She teaches at the Moscow Conservatoire.
