12 February 2015, ThursdayFrom February, 12 till March, 8 the exhibition by photographer Vladimir Fridkes dedicated to The Bolshoi Ballet prima, world ballet star Svetlana Zakharova will take place at Multimedia Art Museum in Moscow. "Svetlana Zakharova. Still frame" project will present 60 photographs. Part of them has been made at studio where the ballerina tried on new image suggested by the photographer. And the other part has been taken on the stage, at the rehearsals and behind the curtain, showing some nuances of ballet art that are usually hidden from the audience. "A photo exhibition totally dedicated to me opens for the first time. These photos are really vivid and I am very glad I could collaborate with this talented photographer" - said Zakharova to RIA News. In 2005 Vladimir Fridkes has already worked at The Bolshoi: the shots from his report about last 10 days before the theatre was closed for reconstruction have been included in "The Bolshoi" book published after the restoration was over.
