The People's Artist of USSR Sofia Golovkina's centenary is celebrated this year. Prior to a festive gala to be held on October 7 on the Historical stage, The Bolshoi museum presents photo exhibition dedicated to the great ballerina and pedagogue.

Select photos will let you to trace Sofia Golovkina's life as The Bolshoi Ballet soloist, as a teacher, as a choreographer.
The exhibition will be open at the Historical stage Museum foyer till November 10.
