On July 11th Natalia Kasatkina Jubilee Gala took place on the Bolshoi Theatre New Stage. Kasatkina is a famous ballerina and choreographer. The famous ballet "The Rite of Spring", staged by Natalia Kasatkina and Vladimir Vasilyov for the Bolshoi Theatre during the Soviet era was the highlight of the Gala program. This was the first ballet, choreographed to this music piece by I. Stravinsky. Soloists of the Bolshoi and the Mariinsky theatres congratulated Natalia Kasatkina and presented various dance numbers. The program also included fragments from the Classical Ballet Theatre new productions.
