01 August 2014, FridayThe Bolshoi Theatre artists will perform at the VDNKh (in 1992 - 2014 All-Russia Exhibition Centre) On August 1st the Exhibition celebrates its 75th birthday. The jubilee will be celebrated for three days, from August 1st till August 3rd. The classical music and the great Russian ballet, the time-tested masterpieces, will be the main theme of the celebration. It is expected that up to 1 mln people will visit the Exhibition on that day. A team of specialists that worked at the Sochi Olympic Games Opening Ceremony will organize a celebration for them. Today the ballet artists, including the Bolshoi Theatre prima-ballerina and a People's Artist of the Russian Federation Maria Allash and the Bolshoi Theatre leading soloist and an Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Andrei Merkuriev will dance on the special podiums inside of the working fountains. They will present separate numbers from the modern interpretation of the ballet "The Tale of the Stone Flower".
