28 April 2015, Tuesday14th International Ballet Festival Dance Open has been finished yesterday in Saint Petersburg. This year The Bolshoi brought one of the most bright ballet premieres of the last season to Alexandrinsky stage - "The Taming of the Shrew" staged by famous choreographer, Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo artistic director Jean-Christophe Maillot. The staging, that recently got 3 Golden Masks at once, impressed the audience once again gaining a huge ovation on both performance days - April, 24-25.
