November, 25 "Billy Budd" opera by Benjamin Britten premiered on The Bolshoi New stage in co-production with English National Opera, Deutche Oper Berlin.

William Lacey is the Music Director, David Alden is the Stage Director. The main parts on premiere night have been performed by John Daszak (Edward Vere), Iurii Samoilov (Billy Budd), Gidon Saks (John Claggart), Marat Gali (Red Whiskers), Robert Lloyd (Dansker).
