Svyatoslav Liuter (conductor) was born in Leningrad in family of musicians.
Studied in Choral school at the State Academic Chapel in them. M.I.Glinki. In 1990 has acted in the St.-Petersburg Conservatory it Rimsky-Korsakov‘s where it was trained in choral conducting in V.Nesterova, N.Korneva‘s classes, and to symphonic conducting in V.Fedotova, R.Martynova‘s classes. Repeatedly took part in the Master-classes of maestro Zubina of Meta and Jury Simonov.
During training in the Conservatory supervised over chorus of German music at evangelical-lutheran church. 1995-1998 St.-Petersburg the Opera " worked at theatre of a chamber opera ", taught conducting and was the chorus master in the St.-Petersburg Academy of culture. Per 1996-1997 was the assistant-trainee in the Moldavian National symphonic orchestra, in Kishinev. Since 1998 Svyatoslav Liuter is the conductor of the state symphonic orchestra of St.-Petersburg.
For this period under its management the set of concerts in various halls of city has been lead. Liuter repeatedly was the initiator and the head of festival programs. Under its management the State symphonic orchestra of St.-Petersburg has lead a number of subscription cycles in the Assembly hall of the St.-Petersburg State University.
Musical seasons " Ludwig‘s Heritage ван Beethoven " (2000-2001), " Iogannesa Brams‘s Masterpieces " (2001-2002), " New Names " (2000-2002), artistic director and which conductor it was, have received the big resonance. Uniqueness of these author‘s projects consist in their historical-educational character. So, for the first time within one academic year within the precincts of university Beethoven‘s 9 symphonies have sounded all.
In 2004 under Svatoslava Luther‘s initiative in St.-Petersburg the new educational program " the Student‘s philarmonic society " has been organized. On a stage of a concert hall in University of technology and design " Symphonic academies " - free-of-charge concerts for students of all universities of city sound. Svyatoslav Liuter on a regular basis acts with various orchestras and choral collectives of St.-Petersburg, conducts active theatrical activity.
