Born in 1937 in Dresden.
Graduated from K.M. von Weber - College as pianist, violist and conductor.
During his studying was a special prizewinner of Schumann competition, performed as a soloist with K.Mazur.
Was an assistant-conductor of K.Mazur and O.Suitner. Worked with Berlin Philharmonic orchestra, was a deputy artistic director of K.Zanderling‘s orchestra.
At present time he has combined his activity at Berlin Philharmonic with Gelsinburg Philharmonic orchestras and Staatskapella of Weimar
